The Woollahra Hotel has kicked off its annual Hitz & Spritz summer tennis takeover on the terrace, transforming the top deck into a tennis-themed haven throughout January. Guests can enjoy $10 Aperol Spritz cocktails all day while lounging in deck chairs and donning complimentary visors to catch the live action of the Australian Open from January 14 to 28 on multiple screens. Additionally, the hotel is offering a special Bottomless Aperol Spritz Brunch for $89 per person every Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm, featuring a 2-hour bottomless Aperol Spritz, wines, beers, and a modern Asian-inspired menu.

With new dating app Humpday and Australia’s premium Pickleball organisation the National Pickleball League, Picklemania is a one night tournament on Wednesday 31 January.

The tournament is being held at ‘The Jar’ – the first indoor Pickleball supersite in Australia. In celebration of over 80 years in business, Tasmanian Bakeries is giving back to the community through the National Pies for Local Heroes grants program. Launched on January 23, the initiative features Australian football legend Jack Riewoldt as its ambassador. Throughout 2024, local community organisations have the chance to receive monthly grants of $1,000 from National Pies, with an additional opportunity for one organization to win a larger grant of $10,000.
