First Look at the Porsche 918 Spyder Off-Road Edition by Designer Rain Prisk

The Porsche 918 Spyder was bad-ass enough as it was. Fast, sharp and luxurious, it seems that there is not much that could be done to make this sports car any cooler. Although we didn’t think it possible, innovative automotive designer Rain Prisk decided to take the Spyder 918 and make it even better. He really pushed the limits with his latest design. Prisk transformed the 918 into a serious off-road contender that looks ready to rule any off-road terrain.

The car in question could probably handle the most difficult trails in the world. Prisk makes sure that it has both the equipment and the power needed to tackle any landscape. This Porsche 918 concept features plenty of ground clearance and is equipped with pretty much everything for some serious off-road fun: huge reinforced mudder tires, a heavy-duty winch fitted on the front, enormous auxiliary floodlights and a set of brush guards. The car even comes with a roof rack to securely haul whatever gear needed for an extreme adventure. Bestowed with a powerful 4.6-liter V8 engine with a total output of 608 horsepower, this Porsche could find its way through just about any terrain and explore places that you wouldn’t find on any map.

All-in-all this is one fantastic auto design from Prisk. He is definitely on to something with the Porsche 918 Spyder Off-Road Edition. We do hope that Porsche takes note of this concept as we would love to take it for a test drive someday.
