Porsche 911 Draped in Berluti Leather Is Up for Auction at Sotheby’s

LVMH is all about making you look and feel your best. What you may not know is that the luxury menswear house lent its expertise to Porsche for a custom classic 911 S Targa. Berluti sent over their leather master craftsmen to spend nearly 500 hours creating a custom interior that features the car’s seats, door panels, dashboard, headliner, and mat trim.

But it’s not just the big parts that received Berluti’s attention. Little details like the window switches, seat adjusters, and switch units on the dashboard also received the leather treatment. All the leather work also features hand stitching and embossing. Berluti used their signature “cacao” coloured Venezia leather on the car.

You’ll also find “Berluti Paris” stamped on the steering wheel, while the key fob received a monogrammed B.

The Porsche also received a full mechanical and bodywork restoration, bringing the 911 back into prime shape. The leather will patina over time, offering a beautiful accent to the silver body color. The car also comes with special accessories, including a pair of driving shoes and a weekend bag. This first-ever car done by Berluti was sold at auction by Sotheby’s and brought in 348,500 EUR.
