Grand Seiko Release Two Special Creations

Grand Seiko has released two very special pieces, each celebrating two momentous occasions for the manufacturer. The first celebrates the 160th anniversary of Seiko’s founder, Kintaro Hattori. The piece in question is a variation of Grand Seiko’s Spring Drive model. Clad in platinum and featuring Zarastu polishing, this model will be available in a limited run of only 50 pieces. The second piece is a re-creation of the first Grand Seiko watch made in gold. A divine piece of simplicity and classism, this model will be made in a limited run of only 350 pieces. Casio G SHOCK Daruma Series

Casio G-SHOCK Daruma Series

Casio G-SHOCK has released a new series of watches inspired by the Daruma Doll, a traditional Japanese heirloom that is a symbol of good luck. Three models will be made available in this series, each clad in a striking red aesthetic. There is the original square-faced DW-5600 model, the fully digital DW-6900 model and the digital-analog GA-100DA model. Each model features a depiction of the Daruma in some fashion.
