Disclosure Standards (Australian Consumer Law)

Man of Many follows the Australian Consumer Law and Australian Competition and Consumer Commission guidance on commercial and affiliate relationships. Where an article contains affiliate links, that commercial relationship is disclosed clearly and prominently, in a position the reader sees before or alongside the affiliate links, never buried in a footer or hidden behind a click. Disclosure is written in plain language so the average reader understands that Man of Many may earn a commission.

On-page disclosure is required on every article. Every article that contains affiliate links carries its own visible disclosure on that page, adjacent to or above the affiliate content. A general site-wide policy on its own is not sufficient.

Products chosen independently after careful research are distinguished from paid placements. If manufacturers or retailers have paid for editorial placement, it is noted clearly with a Sponsored Content tag and clear disclosure.
