Bylines, datelines and credit lines should accurately convey to readers the source of reporting. All articles should have a byline and contact information for the writer so readers know who to contact if there is an error or issue.
No Bylines Policy
At times, Man of Many may choose not to publish bylines on certain articles or pages. This is typically done for editorial reasons, such as to emphasize the overall quality and credibility of the content rather than individual authors, or to highlight the collaborative nature of the content creation process.
In such cases, readers can be assured that the content has undergone the same rigorous fact-checking and editing processes as articles with individual bylines. If you have any questions or concerns about such articles, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to address them.
On some articles or pages, you will see bylines from Man of Many rather than our staff or contributors. This byline may be used in place if no user account is available for a contributing author. An author bio will still be included at the end of the article of all guest posts.
Further, through our staff-written editorials and opinion, we may take positions on important issues affecting our readership, from climate change to mental health. The editorials are unsigned because, while written by one or more members of our staff, they represent the point of view of our news organization’s management and not an individual writer.
