In 1957, Breitling dove into the watch world with a watch aimed at the diver market. In the past 60 years, Breitling has continued to be a major player in that niche. The new Superocean Collection will continue cementing Breitling as a favourite in the diver watch market.
It’s not just divers that will appreciate the new watches. These watches, while remaining true to their diving heritage, have a style that is appealing to any man or woman with an active lifestyle. “Our Surfers Squad and our partnerships with Outerknown and Ocean Conservancy speak volumes about our affection for the seas,” states Breitling CEO Georges Kern.
“With the new Superocean Collection, we have created watches for people who want to explore the oceans, whether they are active in water sports or in clean-up initiatives. And, of course, they will excite any fan of Breitling’s design values.”
Those values include using a Breitling Caliber 17 as the foundation for the Superocean collection. Each watch has a power reserve of around 38 hours and is COSC certified. They feature Super-LumiNova numerals, indexes, and hands. The collection consists of five different sizes to help ensure the optimal fit regardless of whose wrist will wear the watch.
The watches are perfect for those in the waves, under the waves, or on the shore watching the waves come in.
