They say three’s a crowd. A chaotic 60-person brawl erupted on a Carnival Cruise last week, with the footage recently going viral on social media. Adding a sprinkle of spice to the story, the fight allegedly broke out over jealousy relating to a threesome between some passenger’s significant others on board. Yikes!

The chaos took place inside the fifth-floor nightclub at 2 am on the Carnival Magic cruise headed to New York City. Passenger Theresa James told FOX News Digital the fight broke out near the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge “when significant others accused their partners of cheating in a threesome”. Following the confrontation, the dancefloor descended into a full-blown melee.
In what can only be described as wild scenes, the video above shows fists flying in all directions with beer bottles heard smashing on the ground. According to a witness report from the New York Post, the skirmish flowed into the casino area on the same level before moving from the fifth floor to the first.
“It was the last night, so i guess they wanted to go out with a bang,” one passenger tweeted. The same passenger posted a video of the brawl with the caption, “Last night’s festivities on my Carnival cruise.”
As you’d expect, the shocking events led to a barrage of comments and replies on social media. “Somewhere on that ship lies the most legendary instigator in history,” a person tweeted.“A good 56 of those folks were fighting just to fight LMAOO,” one user added.
Another Twitter user took the glass-half-empty approach. “On the other hand. Seems like a good time was had by all, and isn’t that what a cruise is about? Good way to take all the stress out of ones life,” they tweeted.
The ship’s security guards failed to stop the fighting, which lasted for over an hour, forcing them to call the U.S. Coast guard to finally put an end the drama.
It’s unclear at this time if the authorities arrested anyone involved, but stay tuned for updates.
