He is the definition of a modern mogul and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has the properties to show for it. The rapper, producer, actor and record label owner’s former Los Angeles mega-mansion has gone up for sale, with an estimated price tag of USD$14.5 million (AUD$20 million). Sitting high atop Beverly Hills’ most luxurious estates, the incredible property is fit for a king.
Spread across three floors, the house, which Diddy called home between 2008 and 2013, features five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Vastly open, the entire property has a sweeping flow that moves seamlessly from indoor to outdoor entertaining spaces, but it’s not exactly the same house that Diddy would remember. Newly renovated, the Beverly Hills property is now highlighted by floor to ceiling glass frames set against white walls and a proverbial buffet of high-tech appliances.
Originally built in 2004, the Beverlycrest Drive property has a certain grandeur that you’d expect from the music mogul. Guest enter via the grand foyer, which flows through to a massive primary suite complete with a stunning fireplace set into the architecture. From here, guests are free to enjoy the sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and downtown LA from the monster balcony. In its official listing, agent Arron Kirman described the property as the “Crown Jewel of Beverly Crest”.
“This ultra-private expansive home embodies the quintessential LA lifestyle and captures all the elements of holistic living,” the listing reads. “Designed in harmony with its surroundings this spectacular home is ideal for modern living, family and entertaining alike. The home displays a harmonious mix of cutting-edge technology and classical finishes, the feeling is grand yet inviting throughout.”
Moving one floor higher, the kitchen is truly remarkable. Headlined by a suite of stainless steel appliances, the heart of the home also features a marble island that runs nearly the full length of the room. Moving upstairs, the property continues to play host to a bevy of stunning marble features, not the least of which being the entire bathroom, including two vanities, showers and a hot tub that cops incredible scenic views. Naturally, there is also an infinity pool, sunken spa, barbeque station and a massive entertainment room.
But aside from just being the former home of a rap superstar, this house also lays claim to an impressive first. Back in July, the LA property hosted the first NFT mixer and gallery. According to Compass’ Kirman, the event featured a series of NFT artworks available to view and purchase, with NFT fractionalised art by renowned creators like Basquiat and Salvador Dali on offer from EcoFi.
Listed at USD$14.5 million (AUD$20 million), the Beverly Hills property is expected to sell quickly, which is hardly surprising, considering the heritage on offer.
