  • KFC Australia has launched a full Picklecore menu nationwide from 1–30 September 2026.
  • The range includes a Pickle Burger, Pickle Loaded Chips, Frickles, Pickle Ranch Sauce and a $5.50 Pickle Pepsi.
  • Pickle Pepsi is Pepsi Max over ice with fresh pickles and pickle brine served on the side, so you can decide your own ratio.

KFC Australia has launched a full-on Picklecore menu for September, and while most of it sits comfortably within the boundaries of normal fast food, somebody has clearly been left unsupervised with the pickle brine.

There are plenty of reasonable things you can do with a pickle. Put one on a burger. Fry it. Blend the brine into ranch dressing if you’re feeling particularly committed. Pour it into Pepsi Max? Apparently so.

If that kind of pickleback-inspired chaos doesn’t quite grab your fancy, the wider range includes a Pickle Burger, Pickle Loaded Chips, Frickles (I’ll be having those for sure) and Pickle Ranch Sauce.

What’s on KFC’s Picklecore Menu?

Let’s start with the stuff you might actually want to eat. The $11.45 Pickle Burger takes an Original Recipe chicken fillet and piles on pickle ranch sauce, pickle dill seasoning, bread-and-butter pickles and pickle chips. There’s even a Zinger version, too.

If you like those pickle chips, you can take it up a notch with the $8.95 Pickle Loaded Chips, topped with crispy pickles, popcorn chicken (sadly unpickled) and more of that pickle ranch sauce. For something quick and easy, the $5 Frickles are exactly what you’d hope they are: fried pickles. No notes. Chef’s kiss.

And if you’ve made it this far and still need more Pickle Ranch Sauce, you can grab an extra serving for $3.50. Can never have too much dill. But be careful what you wish for, because now we enter the beverage section of the Picklecore menu. Maybe avert your eyes for this one. Your taste buds are on their own. It’s about to get even pickleier.

Yes, Pickle Pepsi Is Exactly What It Sounds Like

My god. It’s a monstrosity. The $5.50 Pickle Pepsi starts off safely enough as a Pepsi Max poured over ice with fresh pickles. Then KFC hands you the pickle brine and leaves the rest up to you.

You can add as much or as little brine as you like, creating what KFC calls your “perfect Pickle Pepsi ratio”, which is a concept we hadn’t considered until today.

Australia Has Apparently Gone Pickle Mad

KFC hasn’t pulled all of this pickle madness out of thin air. It’s been fermenting for quite some time now.

Pickles have spent the past year creeping into just about everything, with Twisties launching its own Tangy Pickle flavour earlier in 2026.

So yes, Aussies love a good pickle. And KFC has fully committed to the bit.But wait, there’s more. Thanks to what KFC is calling the Picklecore Tab, the first 50 customers to order from the Pickle menu at each participating store will eat free.

The Picklecore Tab kicks off at KFC Richmond in Victoria this Friday from 12–1pm, with the other participating stores around Australia set to be announced through KFC’s social channels this week. So keep your pickles eyes peeled.

For everyone else, the Picklecore menu is available nationwide from 1 September until 30 September. Just check the total before you hit checkout, because prices may vary between stores.

That means you’ve got about four weeks to decide whether pickle ranch belongs on fried chicken. And more importantly, it gives you four weeks to decide exactly how much pickle brine belongs in Pepsi Max.
