Bugatti has a big year planned. They’ll be touring places where their founder Ettore Bugatti was active throughout his life. But a tour is just the trimmings; the real celebration is the limited edition cars that will be going into production. One of those cars is the Chiron Sport, which will proudly wear France’s colors—the country where the Italian-born Bugatti set up business and built his Molsheim factory.
The Chiron Sport will be limited to only 20 units. Each will sit on a set of matte black alloy wheels. The bright blue brake calipers shine through the spokes, continuing the theme of the French flag, which is proudly displayed on the rear spoiler. The inside as well sports the French tri-color with blue leather on the steering wheel and throughout the cabin.
As far as hardware goes, there isn’t much in the way of upgrades—but you don’t really need any on the Chiron anyway. The supercar features a W16 8.0-liter engine that is capable of 1,479 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. One small difference between the special edition and the regular sport is that the special edition is 40 pounds lighter, largely because of the extra carbon fiber (even the windshield wipers were made out of carbon fiber). The limited edition can do 0 to 62 in just 2.4 seconds and has a top speed of over 261 miles per hour.
