- OMEGA brings James Bond and Spectre together in one watch collection for the first time, with two standard steel Seamaster Diver 300M models for AUD $13,575 each.
- The Bond and Spectre editions share the same 42 mm case and Calibre 8806 underneath, but split visually between blue waves and gun-barrel details for 007, and a black grained finish with the Spectre octopus on the other side.
- OMEGA is also offering 77 numbered Bond sets and 77 Spectre sets, each pairing a steel watch with an exclusive platinum-gold model for AUD $141,700.
James Bond has spent the majority of his career trying to dismantle Spectre. But there’s a problem. OMEGA has decided to build the international criminal syndicate a watch of its own.
For the first time in its more than 30-year relationship with 007, “the watch the world has learned to trust” is forcing us to choose between good and evil, bringing together James Bond and Spectre in the same collection, with six timepieces built around the familiar Seamaster Diver 300M.
The collection is split right down the middle between good and evil. On one end are two stainless-steel editions: one Bond and one Spectre, both priced at AUD $13,575 each. On the other side sit two far more serious limited-edition box sets, each pairing a numbered steel model with an exclusive platinum-gold version for AUD $141,700 (USD ~$99,000).
Before you start counting the dollars in your account, worry about movements, precious metals or which secret organisation signs your pay cheque, there’s only one question left to answer before we proceed with the mission…
MI6 or Spectre? Moving Between Good and Evil
Whichever side you choose, every watch in the collection starts largely the same. Both stainless-steel editions use a 42mm Seamaster Diver 300M case, a brushed mesh bracelet and OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, with a 55-hour power reserve and, as the name makes clear, 300 metres of water resistance.
The differences are mostly cosmetic, where OMEGA gets to play both sides. The Bond side of the collection gets the blue dial, familiar wave pattern and gun-barrel treatment you’d expect from a 007 Seamaster. Whereas Spectre goes darker. Much darker. They drop the wave patterns altogether, swapping them out for a grained black dial, ceramic bezel and the organisation’s menacing octopus emblem.

If you’re sticking with the good guys, the James Bond edition (Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004) is easily the more familiar-looking Seamaster. The blue aluminium dial keeps OMEGA’s laser-engraved wave pattern, while the bezel swaps the usual insert for a Grade 5 titanium ring. A Bond family crest sits at 12 o’clock, though most of the obvious 007 business is saved for the back, where the rotor carries a gun-barrel design.
It’s obviously a Bond watch, but OMEGA, much like the new Q said to Daniel Craig, “Are you expecting an exploding pen? We don’t really go in for that anymore,” so you won’t find remote detonators, lasers or a dial covered in movie references here.

If you’ve chosen evil this week, Spectre’s version (Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023) is the watch you want to be wearing when you’re taking over the world. Gone are the blue waves and bright Bond cues. Instead, OMEGA has given the watch a blackened grained dial and black ceramic bezel, creating something that looks far more menacing without turning it into a novelty villain watch. Add enough black, and you’re already halfway there.
Even the Spectre branding is mostly kept out of sight. Turn it over, and the truth comes out. The organisation’s octopus wraps around the rotor, but from the front it could easily pass for a particularly stealthy Seamaster; fit for a double agent.
Bond and Spectre Together At Last
It’s the first time the brand has brought Bond and Spectre together, with OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann suggesting that both good and evil belong in the same collection. “Our customers have always known both sides of it. Now they can wear both,” said Raynald Aeschlimann, President & CEO, OMEGA.
