IWC Portugieser Monopusher Chronograph “Laureus Sport for Good”
Honoring the long-standing partnership with Laureus (which offers training in Olympic sports for children and adults with disabilities), IWC has released the Portugieser Monopusher Chronograph “Laureus Sport for Good. This is an especially beautiful timepiece, combining the iconic aesthetic of a traditional Portugieser with the overtly complex mechanics of a monopusher chronograph. I particularly love the layout of this watch, with clear indications enabling uninterrupted legibility and ease of use. That addition of a date window and a power reserve rounds off what is a very nice watch.

Sinn 158 Chronograph
Sinn is renowned for producing military-inspired watches, and the 158 Chronograph is perhaps one of its best. Based on the 1550 SG Bundeswehr which was produced during the 1960s, 1980s and through the early 1990s, the 158 Chronograph combines a rugged exterior with a subtly detailed dial to dramatic effect. The thick riveted bezel, exposed pushers and crown, and military-inspired dial layout really elevates the 158 Chronograph, as do the red-dial additions. A big fat yes from me.

Breguet Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique
Featuring a stunning blue dial, the Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique is Breguet’s latest rendition of a model that is undeniably beautiful. The oddly place tourbillon window between 4 and 6 o’clock is a bit of a play on the senses, whereas we would be used to seeing the exposed tourbillon in the typical placement sites. Everything is really quite gorgeous, but of course the focus here is on that exceptional tourbillon. Super contemporary in its design and executed to absolute perfection, the Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique is a crowning jewel for Breguet.
