Mr Scott Purcell, CFA

Scott Purcell CFA is the Co-Founder of Man of Many and a prominent voice in modern digital media. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and International Business, and spent seven years as a Senior Financial Analyst at Westpac Institutional Bank. Recognised early for his entrepreneurial drive as a 2017 NSW Business Chamber Young Entrepreneur finalist, Scott now channels his expertise in digital publishing, media and advertising into collaborations with leading global brands such as Apple, Samsung, IWC and TAG Heuer.
Since launch, Scott has guided Man of Many to more than 2.1 million unique monthly readers, a community of 900,000 social followers and 130,000 newsletter subscribers. The publication became Australia’s first digital publisher to be 100% carbon neutral and Climate Active certificatied and has collected a string of major honours, including Website of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards in 2020, 2023 and 2024, Best Media Platform at the B&T Awards 2023 and the B&T Award for the Planet in 2024. The brand also secured Gold for Best Native Advertising at the Digital Media Awards Asia 2024. Personally, Scott was ranked #42 on the MediaWeek Power 100 in 2024, won MediaWeek’s Next of the Best Award for Publishing the same year and is a 2025 finalist for both the AdNews Champions of Change Power List and Mumbrella Awards’ Media Brand of the Year. These achievements underscore his reputation as an innovative and influential leader in the Asia-Pacific media landscape.
