Scott Purcell CFA is Co-Founder and Director of Man of Many, Australia’s largest men’s lifestyle publisher and the nation’s first 100% carbon-neutral, Climate Active certified digital media brand. Since launching the site from a spare bedroom in 2012, he has grown it to a total global reach of over 6 million people monthly, 900,000+ social followers, and 130,000 newsletter subscribers, setting the benchmark for premium, purpose-driven digital publishing.
Under Scott’s guidance Man of Many has collected a raft of industry honours, including Media Brand of the Year at the Mumbrella Awards, Website of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards 2020, 2023, 2024 and 2025, Best Media Platform at the B&T Awards 2023, Event of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards 2024, Gold for Best Native Advertising at the Digital Media Awards Asia 2024 and the B&T Award for the Planet 2024.
Scott’s personal accolades underscore his leadership and innovation. Alongside co-founder Frank Arthur, he was named Publish Leader of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards 2023. He ranked #42 on the MediaWeek Power 100 in 2024, secured MediaWeek’s Next of the Best Award for Publishing the same year, and in 2025, was a finalist for the AdNews Champions of Change Power List and was named in Campaign Asia's esteemed 40 Under 40 list.
Scott collaborates with global brands such as Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Nike, IWC, TAG Heuer, Omega, Cartier and Longines, delivering data led creative that marries editorial credibility with commercial impact. He also oversees Man of Many’s in-house content studio, which produces award-winning video, social and experiential campaigns for partners across technology, luxury, automotive and fashion.
A graduate of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and International Business, Scott spent seven years as a Senior Financial Analyst at Westpac Institutional Bank before earning his CFA charter. His analytical rigour now underpins a forward-thinking approach to media, sustainability, and AI. As a founding member of the Digital Publishers Alliance, a judge for national media awards, and the author of the LinkedIn newsletter Digital Media Digest, he champions transparent metrics, ethical journalism, and independent publishing while mentoring the next generation of media talent.
