Mr Scott Purcell, CFA
Scott Purcell is the Co-Founder and Director of Man of Many, Australia’s largest men’s lifestyle publisher and the nation’s first 100 % carbon-neutral, Climate Active certified digital media brand. A graduate of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and International Business, Scott spent seven years as a Senior Financial Analyst at Westpac Institutional Bank before earning his Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Launching Man of Many from a spare bedroom in 2012, Scott has steered the platform to 2.1 million unique monthly readers, a community of 900 000 + social followers and 130 000 newsletter subscribers. Renowned for blending financial rigour with creative vision, he now partners with leading global brands including Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Nike, IWC, TAG Heuer, Omega, Cartier and Longines, delivering data-led storytelling that drives real commercial impact.
Under his leadership, Man of Many has collected Website of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards in 2020, 2023 and 2024, Best Media Platform at the B&T Awards 2023, Event of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards 2024, Gold for Best Native Advertising at the Digital Media Awards Asia 2024 and the B&T Award for the Planet 2024. Personally, Scott was ranked #42 on the MediaWeek Power 100 in 2024 and, alongside co-founder Frank Arthur, won Publish Leader of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards 2023. He is also a 2025 finalist for both the AdNews Champions of Change Power List and the Mumbrella Awards’ Media Brand of the Year, cementing his status as one of the Asia–Pacific region’s most influential media voices.
