- Pagani revealed the one-off Huayra 70 Anima hypercar in Las Vegas.
- The bespoke build incorporates diamond dust paint and hand-applied platinum leaf.
- Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 pairs with a 7-speed manual gearbox.
- The car marks the final creation of the three-vehicle Huayra 70 trilogy.
- Engineered as a bespoke commission, the Anima is not for sale.
Pagani has revealed the one-off Huayra 70 Anima at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, uniting all three vehicles from the Huayra 70 trilogy for the first time alongside 40 other hypercars from the atelier. The bespoke model uses the usual AMG-sourced twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 engine but pairs it with a 7-speed gated manual transmission that sends power exclusively to the rear wheels. Developed under the Grandi Complicazioni programme for an individual collector, the hand-crafted coupe is a bespoke one-off build and is not available for public sale. It also doesn’t have a price attached, but expect AUD$10 million at the low end to get one like it in your driveway.
The Anima completes the three-car series commissioned in recognition of Horacio Pagani’s 70th birthday, following the previously delivered Huayra 70 Trionfo and Huayra 70 Derecho. While earlier mid-engine flagships like the Huayra BC Roadster utilised an automated single-clutch sequential gearbox, this build adopts the analogue mechanical linkage found in the Pagani Utopia. “Our mission is to continue seeking perfection in every single detail, finding that essential harmony between form and function, intellect and craftsmanship,” founder and chief designer Horacio Pagani said. “Bringing the world premiere of the Anima and the complete Huayra 70 trio to the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas means celebrating this tireless pursuit alongside those who share our profound passion for automotive design.”
While all three Huayra 70 examples are allocated to private international collectors and will not enter regular Australian showrooms, local supercars collectors can commission bespoke few-off projects through the brand’s Melbourne and Sydney retail partners. Bespoke projects from the Grandi Complicazioni division require more than 12 months of individual consultation and engineering before final assembly at the San Cesario sul Panaro facility in Italy.

Handcrafted Carbon Fibre Bodywork Has Platinum and Diamond Dust
We might need to walk back our claim that this is an AUD$10 million-plus vehicle, because the exterior surfaces of the Anima feature exposed carbon fibre finished in a dual-tone clear coat that combines Custom Metallic Light Blue and Custom Inky Blue. But they haven’t stopped there, as artisans blended genuine diamond dust directly into the clear paint layers to create a shimmering effect under direct light. Running along the centre of the bodywork is a primary stripe of hand-applied platinum leaf, manually flowered to create an irregular texture, flanked by a secondary accent stripe that alternates between light and dark blue.
Per the Pagani playbook, solid-milled aluminium trim components feature a silver anodised protective surface across the body. The car rides on diamond-cut forged wheels finished in Inky Blue with a Las Vegas Blue perimeter rim, concealing chrome brake calipers. Meanwhile, at the rear, an exposed 6-pipe exhaust system coated in white ceramic exits above a multi-channel carbon fibre diffuser. Beneath the front and rear clamshells, the suspension tie-rods and coil springs are finished in Argentina Light Blue, while neighbouring structural brackets are anodised in Tricolore Blue.
It’s a spec fest, and we can’t imagine the owner plans to spend much time on the road in the car. However, when we look inside, the passenger compartment and upholstery blend beige and milk-toned leather with bespoke woven fabric from Loro Piana, while the cabin tub itself retains Inky Blue exposed carbon fibre, contrasting with Custom Metallic Light Blue highlights on the steering wheel rim and gear selector knob. More than the paint, Pagani must have had some leftover, as they applied genuine diamond dust to both the steering wheel and manual shift knob, while embroidered seat emblems and trim plaques display graphic motifs representing the flags of Argentina and Las Vegas.

Analogue Gated Manual Transmission and Twin-Turbo V12
Pagani equips the Huayra 70 Anima with a Mercedes-AMG 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that generates 864 hp (635 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque.
Unlike early Huayra production models that used automated single-clutch gearboxes, the Anima uses a transverse 7-speed manual transmission developed in collaboration with the British motorsport engineering firm Xtrac. The transmission features an exposed open-gate linkage mechanism on the centre console, keeping that mechanical connection between the driver and the rear wheels.

This powertrain represents a mechanical upgrade over earlier production models from the San Cesario sul Panaro manufacturer. When Pagani introduced the track-focused Huayra BC, its twin-turbo V12 produced 791 hp (590 kW) and 1,049 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque through a sequential paddle-shift system. The Anima combines the increased output and manual layout seen on the Utopia with bespoke bodywork, delivering track capability and driver engagement, not that the owner will be partaking in much of either.
| Model | Engine | Transmission | Power Output | Peak Torque | Production Cap |

| Pagani Huayra BC Roadster | 6.0L Twin-Turbo V12 | 7-Speed Automated Manual | 791 hp (590 kW) | 1,049 Nm (774 lb-ft) | 40 units |

Grandi Complicazioni Production and Commissioning Process
The Anima is the third and final automobile in the Huayra 70 series, joining the Huayra 70 Trionfo and Huayra 70 Derecho.
Operating within the Grandi Complicazioni division, Pagani restricts these builds to one-off and ultra-limited projects developed directly with individual clients. The three-vehicle run mirrors the three-car production of the Zonda HP Barchetta, which the brand created for Horacio Pagani’s 60th birthday.
Because each vehicle in the Huayra 70 series is an exclusive, one-off commission tailored to a private client, the Anima is not available for public sale. Prospective collectors wishing to create bespoke projects through Grandi Complicazioni engage in extensive one-on-one consultations with designers and engineers over 12 to 24 months, with total build costs tailored to individual material specifications and mechanical fabrication. More information about the car and that process can be found at the brand’s website, linked below.
