There’s nothing quite like the sweet smell of victory, which is probably why the team at BOSS Fragrances put their heads together to figure out a way to bottle it. The result? The BOSS Bottled Triumph Elixir, which offers a highly concentrated and high-intensity fragrance that the brand says is designed to mirror the spirit and passion of football, a potent combination indeed.
Someone more familiar with this subject than just about anyone else is Phil Foden, the celebrated midfielder for England’s national team and Manchester City, who recently celebrated securing the English Premier League Championship alongside his teammates. He also knows a thing or two about ensuring he always smells his best.
“I really like the new fragrance,” he says of BOSS Bottled Triumph Elixir. “The scent is something I would use after training. It’s long-lasting so it will still smell good when I’m going out to socialise with friends.”
Rich and Uplifting
From the gym to the bar, the latest release from BOSS Fragrances will keep you fresh. Crafted by the legendary master perfumer Annick Menardo—creator of the legendary original BOSS Bottled scent, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2023—alongside Suzy Le Helley, the pair have crafted a fragrance that combines the rich, charismatic base and uplifting fresh notes of BOSS Bottled Elixir with a new intensity.
The ultimate result is an ambery-green scent, with bold top notes of violet leaf to open, followed by a woody heart of vetiver essence, while the base of patchouli essence provides an earthy foundation.
“I’d probably describe the new fragrance as strong, luxurious, and powerful,” Foden reveals, before going on to confirm the importance of smelling good wherever he goes. ”I have a grooming routine and fragrance plays a huge part. I never leave the house without my fragrance on.”
Bottled Boldly
Just as striking visually as it is in an olfactory sense, the fragrance comes in a refreshed BOSS Bottled glass flacon featuring a glossy, vivid dark blue emblematic of the intensity and freshness contained within. A radiant ceramic finish and icy-gold cap complete this powerful, triumphant image.
When it comes to being triumphant, Foden has first-hand experience: “On the pitch, winning is everything. Playing for a club like Manchester City, there is a lot of expectation to win trophies. The manager wants us to be relentless in everything that we do, so triumph on the pitch is being competitive in every battle and action we do. Away from the field, triumph ultimately is being a good person in everything I do.”
That and smelling your very best while doing so — something to which we can all aspire.
BOSS Bottled Triumph Elixir 100ml is now available from department stores, Sephora, and select pharmacies for AUD$182.
