MSCHF BWD Shoes Are Backwards AF

Okay, fixed it!

Brooklyn-based art collective MSCHF is at it again with an honest-to-god backward shoe. You can’t make this stuff up anymore. From Giant Froot Loops to the ‘Big Red Boots’, these guys know how to garner attention for their legitimately out-of-the-box projects.

Get ready to rock the BWD Shoes, the latest release set to hit the market in April 2023. And we’ll be the first to tell you, these kicks are just bizarre!

Think slides, but flipped upside down and inside out, giving off the illusion that you’re walking backwards. Worn as though they were backwards – thus the name – we can only imagine the paradox of slipping your feet into the toe section of the shoe, even though we’re unlikely to get our hands on these ridiculous and highly coveted shoes (that are almost certain to sell out instantly).

Genius? Maybe. Insane? Definitely. Either way, the BWD shoes will be all over social media, with plenty of copycats soon to follow.

MSCHF is known for their out-of-the-box fashion releases, including the Jesus Shoes, which were filled with holy water from the River Jordan, and the Lil Nas X “Satan Shoes”, which caused quite the controversy. But the BWD Shoes are in a league of their own. Hell, they even found a way to make these “Birkinstocks” worth more than a Real Hermès bag.

But they’re not the only ones pushing the envelope in the fashion industry. Remember the Nike Air Max 90 Bacon? Yep, those were a real thing. It’s featured on our best Nike Air Max 90s of All Time list. And who could forget the Vibram FiveFingers, designed to mimic the feeling of being barefoot? These oddball shoes prove that the fashion industry constantly evolves and pushes boundaries.

So, get ready to step up your shoe game and grab a pair of BWD Shoes before they sell out.
