These $279 Boots are Perfectly Suited for Urban Adventure

It’s not every day you come across a pair of perfect boots. In Australia, we love our RM Williams Craftsman boots when it comes to leather. They’re suitable to our harsh Aussie environment, and although most pairs end up on the dance floor of your local city pub, they’re equally as suited to a sheep station in the outback. Boots have become a staple piece of any stylish man’s wardrobe and we suggest carrying at least two different kinds – don’t go throwing out your RM’s just yet.

A quality pair of leather boots – such as those from RM Williams – are perfectly complemented by a pair of waterproof suede hiking style boots. They fit the bill in the comfort department, but most importantly, they offer a more casual style that’s suited to adventure. Something we can all attest to these days, because no matter what side of the planet you reside in, we’ve all come to appreciate getting outside and sparking up some adventure after the tumultuous 18-months we’ve all endured.

You could say we were a little stoked to lay eyes upon the new MYRQVIST Duved boot when they hit our inbox last week.

The boot game is a tricky one for Aussie’s. It’s hard to look past those great things we call RM’s – the average punter really shouldn’t – but for those who are looking to raise the style bar a little higher let’s introduce you to these suede numbers from MYRQVIST.

We originally introduced the brand back in August when we stumbled across their Stenhammer loafer offering. The loafers were just perfect – we had to get our hands on a pair – and after doing so, we can report they’re even better in person than in pictures (and that’s saying something). MYRQVIST firmly believes that the true value of craftsmanship should not be based on the number of agents, distributors, retailers and their margins, but rather on the quality of raw materials and handcraft that goes into making it. They’ve been speaking our language and we think you’ll love them too, so with that being said let’s check out the brand new Duved boot.

Appreciating that the brand includes all the features that you look for in a boot that is two, three or four times the price, the Duved includes features that start with a water repellent suede from Charles F. Stead. Available in dark brown suede, black, and navy all models are equipped with a robust rubber sole, water-resistant membrane and a gusseted tongue commonly seen in hiking boots. These boots are your perfect rainy day companion, we recommend pairing them with a quality pair of denim jeans and a nice overcoat or jacket during the colder months.

MYRQVIST Duved Boot Features:

  • Made in Portugal
  • Commando sole
  • Water tongue and waterproof lining
  • Water repellent Repello suede from Charles F. Stead
  • Padded collar in leather for comfort
  • Comes with dark brown & orange laces
