One of our favourite fashion destinations Mr Porter has partnered with leading watch brand Bell & Ross to release one exclusive version of the six limited-edition BR-X1 Skeleton Tourbillon Sapphire watches unveiled at Baselworld 2018.
Mr Porter scored the only Blue version in the world, and it could be yours if you get in quick and have 500k burning a hole in your pocket. Let’s say that you do or at least, the watch has piqued your interest.
The BR-X1 Skeleton Tourbillon Sapphire watch has a deep-blue finish on its dial, main plate, hour and minute hands, screws, bridge and tourbillon cage. The case is cut from five blocks of sapphire, taking several days to produce the components for a single watch.
Housed within the full sapphire case is the hand-wound skeleton flying-tourbillon movement, manufactured in-house by Bell & Ross, which, when brought together on the translucent rubber strap, showcases a unique “floating” look upon the wrist.
This timepiece is the most expensive item available to purchase from Mr Porter in its seven-year history. Also one of the most expensive watches ever featured on Man of Many.
“We are thrilled to partner with Bell & Ross on this unique project to launch an exclusive version of the new BR-X1 Skeleton Tourbillon Sapphire,” says Toby Bateman, Managing Director, Mr Porter. “This exceptional timepiece is a true rarity and an achievement in design and manufacturing. We are excited to make such a special watch available for the first time to our customers anywhere in the world.”
You can inquire about this limited-edition BR-X1 Skeleton Tourbillon Sapphire watch with the Deep-Blue finish over at Mr Porter where it holds a price tag of £355,000 / $480,000 USD / $622,000 AUD. Or you know, you could buy a house instead. To each his own as the saying goes.
