Oris was founded in 1904, and with over 100 years of history, they have plenty to draw on when it comes to designs. In 2015, they dipped into that history to revive the Oris Divers Sixty-Five, which they then combined with modern technology for a stylish, new watch.
The Sixty-Five is a part of Oris’s Chronograph Bucherer BLUE EDITIONs line. The watch features a stainless steel case, which is a first for Oris. The sapphire glass has a convex shape that has been treated on the underside with an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and improve readability.
Adding to the legibility, the dial and bezel, which is aluminium, are finished in a dark blue that is exclusive to Bucherer, which makes the indices stand out more.
Oris used an SW 150 caliber for the movement. The watch has a 48-hour power reserve. Measuring in with a 43mm diameter, the watch sits comfortably on your wrist thanks to the leather strap, which uses a pin buckle. The watch is automatic and is water resistant up to 100 meters.
