Believe it or not, when it comes to the internet’s hidden corners, even Hollywood superstars have a few big blind spots. From Cillian Murphy’s complete obliviousness to memes to Tom Cruise, who discovered something entirely unexpected of his own. Turns out our favourite action star had no idea about adult films being all over the web until he had a funny exchange with Seth Rogen. During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Seth Rogen dropped a bombshell confession, revealing that he was the one who introduced the legendary Mission Impossible star to the wild world of online adult entertainment.

During the filming of Knocked Up, Rogen happened to pay a visit to Cruise’s place and much to his surprise, the comedian learned that Cruise had no idea about the existence of internet pornography. Rogen told Meyers, “He didn’t know internet pornography existed.” He went on to reveal that while he couldn’t quite recall how the topic of online porn began, he remembered it unfolding “organically”, as conversations tend to do. As Rogen put it, “I think it just came up organically, like how it does you know. And then ‘oh my friends were looking at internet porn’, and he was like ‘whoa whoa whoa, what?'”
When Meyers playfully suggested that the world-famous actor might have been pulling his leg, Rogen replied, “I 100 per cent believed he had no idea that there was pornography on the World Wide Web. Which, the first thing I knew about the World Wide Web was that there was pornography on it. That’s the only reason I know it exists!” However, introducing Tom Cruise to internet porn wasn’t the only highlight moment during Rogen’s visit. When he got to Cruise’s house, he was dying to use the bathroom and ended up urinating on his driveway.
“There was a very long driveway, and I was so uncomfortable to meet Tom Cruise for the first time, and I didn’t want the first thing I said to him to be, ‘Hi, I’m Seth Rogen. Nice to meet you. I have to pee,'” he confessed. Consequently, he decided to improvise and ended up using a Snapple bottle as a makeshift solution. “Halfway up the driveway I got a Snapple bottle and I peed in the bottle,” he revealed.
Reflecting on the incident, Rogen said, “Looking back, honestly, there’s no way he does not have cameras covering that driveway. There’s a 100 per cent chance that Tom Cruise has a video of me peeing in my car in his driveway, which he has not released.”
Much like in Mission: Impossible, we hope that the video stays locked away and self-destructs.
