Long-Awaited The North Face High Pile Collection Lands in Australia
When you think about outdoor adventure, one brand comes to mind. The North Face has been on a mission to supply the best gear for outdoor explorers and athletes since they were founded in 1966. The American outdoor recreation giant has finally unveiled the long-awaited ‘High Pile Collection’, which sees the re-release of two of its most iconic jackets: the Nuptse and Denali JC, which are now both available in a plush ultra-soft high pile fleece. Both these iconic pieces are designed to give the comfort needed to feel confident in any situation. So let’s jump in and take a closer look at these two iconic jackets.

The North Face High Pile Nuptse Jacket
The High-Pile Nuptse Jacket is a new take on a classic design, utilising 600-fill recycled waterfowl down and recycled fleece for warmth and comfort. Drawing your eye on the front of the jacket is a VISLON centre front zip with an internal draft flap and secure-zip internal and hand pockets along with adjustable hook-and-loop cuff tabs. Like some of our favourite TNF jackets, this Denali also has a storable hood and embroidered The North Face logo on the left chest and back-right shoulder. A unisex jacket, the men’s High Pile Nuptse Jacket is available in the Ponderosa Green colour way while the women’s is available in the Black and Gardenia White colours.

The North Face ’94 High Pile Denali Fleece
Inspired by the iconic 1994 design, the ’94 High Pile Denali Jacket has been reimagined for a new round of adventures with its modern upgrades and 100 per cent recycled body fabric. The Jacket is embroidered with the TNF logo on the left chest and back-right shoulder and features a relaxed fit, comfortable nubby high-pile fleece, and high rolled funnel neck.
We also love the modern features that have been incorporated such as underarm gussets, pit vents, secure-zip chest and hand pockets. The super-soft high-pile fleece jacket features brushed lining, and woven overlays on the collar, chest and back of the yoke and sleeves along with an exposed centre front zip and shock cord at the hem for adjustability. Plus it incorporated recycled features, making it kinder to nature than ever before.
