Welcome back to our weekly series where we feature some of the best watches released over the past seven days, the Wind Up. Happy reading fellas and have a great week ahead.

Breitling Avenger B01 Chronograph Night Mission

  • Brand: Breitling
  • Model: Avenger B01 Chronograph Night Mission
  • Reference Number: SB0147101B1X1
  • Diameter: 44mm
  • Water Resistance: 300m
  • Calibre: Breitling 01
  • Power Reserve: 70 hours
  • Price: AUD$13,290

From Breitling, we have the very bold looking and sounding Avenger B01 Chronograph Night Mission. Ceramic surrounds a very military-inspired dial that creates a super stealthy and dark aesthetic, with a few red highlights scattered throughout.

The Avenger B01 Chronograph Night Mission is Breitling’s answer to the want for a true-to-form chronograph that can handle the rigours of daily wear as much as it can the trials and tribulations of some of the world’s harshest environments. And it looks damn good doing so, too.

Raymond Weil Millesime

  • Brand: Raymond Weil
  • Model: Millesime
  • Reference Number: 2930-STC-65001
  • Diameter: 39.5mm
  • Water Resistance: 50m
  • Calibre: RW4251
  • Power Reserve: 38 hours
  • Price: AUD$3,600

Much has been written and spoken about the Raymond Weil Millesime. It recently won the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) 2023 Challenge Watch Prize, it looks like one of the steals of the decade and it’s about as budget-friendly as an off-peak flight ticket to anywhere in Europe. Basically, the Millesime is as much a triumph as it is an epiphany for Raymond Weil.

Brilliant proportions, borderline flawless balance, an eye for simplicity and an air of something that costs far more than its less-than-five-thousand-dollar price tag indicates, the Raymond Weil Millesime is a true testament to genuine, good old fashioned watchmaking.

The fifth watch in what has been a longstanding partnership between Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin comes in the form of the incredible Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition. From the DLC-coated titanium case to the skeletonised dial showcasing the Aston Martin Green two Neo bridges, the Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition is a beautiful blend of modernity and tradition.

In any variation, the Neo Bridges is supreme. But in this particular example, I think the colours really bring to life the innate horological nature and prowess of the timepiece. The Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition is a stunning piece that marries the worlds of true haute horlogerie and next generation sports cars in the most epic of manners.

BALL Roadmaster Rescue Chronograph

  • Brand: Ball
  • Model: Roadmaster Rescue Chronograph
  • Diameter: 41mm
  • Water Resistance: 100m
  • Calibre: BALL RR1402

BALL unveiled a trio of new chronographs within its Roadmaster collection. The three new Roadmaster Rescue Chronograph models each carry with them the same virtuous characteristics, albeit with some minor aesthetic differences to create some distinction between the references.

Each piece features a chronograph and a day-date function. The BALL Roadmaster Rescue Chronograph is a nifty bit of kit that is available in a dark facade, a white dial with blue sub-dials and an all-green aesthetic. Really cool stuff.
