- Breitling has invited owners of the limited-to-999 Aston Martin Valhalla to order a customised Super Chronomat via a dedicated configurator.
- Two models are available to customise: the 44-mm Super Chronomat B19 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph and the 38-mm Super Chronomat Automatic 38.
- Owners can personalise details such as rehaut and hand colours, plus rotor or caseback engraving.
As if there weren’t enough reasons to wish you were the owner of an Aston Martin Valhalla already, Breitling has gone and given us another one. Yes, this most exclusive of clubs (only 999 Valhallas will be produced) is now being offered the opportunity to commission a custom Breitling Super Chronomat inspired by their vehicle.
As Aston Martin’s Official Watch Partner, the Swiss maison is opening up the design process of the Super Chronomat, one of its most distinctive collections. Through a dedicated configurator, Valhalla owners are invited to craft a watch inspired by their individual Valhalla’s specifications and personal style.
Those who take Breitling and Aston Martin up on this offer will get to choose between two models available for customisation: the Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph and the Super Chronomat Automatic 38. Neither of these will come cheap, but I suppose if you’ve already made peace with the sort of payout a supercar infused with Formula 1 technology requires, a matching watch is the comparably easy part.

Aston Martin Valhalla
The Valhalla is Aston Martin’s first series-production, mid-engine PHEV supercar, built around race-derived engineering and Formula 1 technology. A 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors combine for 1,064 horsepower, which is good for a 0-100km/h sprint in 2.5 seconds and a 349km/h top speed.
As mentioned, production is capped at just 999 vehicles worldwide, meaning even if every owner takes up Breitling’s offer, there will be a very limited number of custom-made timepieces for Breitling fanatics to try to scope in the wild.

Breitling Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph
If you’re going to pair a watch with a 349km/h supercar, why not take the more-is-more approach? Following that impulse, you’ll want the 44 mm B19. Its titanium case houses an automatic perpetual calendar chronograph, one of watchmaking’s rarest combinations.
The carbon-fibre dial gives it a suitably technical look, while the display caseback shows off the movement and an 18k red-gold rotor. The calendar tracks month lengths, moon phases, and leap years, and needs no manual adjustment until 2100. A 96-hour power reserve means you can leave it for four days and it’ll be ready to go when you come back.
Owners can tweak the colour across the rehaut, seconds hand, and counter hand, as well as having the rotor engraved, making the display caseback an even more essential inclusion.

Breitling Super Chronomat Automatic 38
At the other end of the scale sits the Super Chronomat Automatic 38. It pairs a far more compact 38 mm steel case with a textured carbon-fibre dial and a diamond-set bezel. The three-hand display is joined by a discreet date window at six o’clock, with the dial’s technical pattern doing most of the talking.
Breitling says the titanium crown and carbon dial bring genuine automotive performance materials to the wrist, forging a direct link between the Valhalla’s engineering language and the watch’s design. Similar to its 44-mm sibling, customisation covers the rehaut and hands colour, along with a caseback engraving.

Pricing and Availability
Neither Aston Martin nor Breitling has revealed pricing for the bespoke Super Chronomats. Given that the programme is available exclusively to Valhalla owners, and the watches are commissioned through the dedicated configurator, it would be fair to assume they won’t come cheap.
Not that it really matters. If you aren’t one of the 999, you’ll have to make do with admiring them from afar anyway.
