For anyone out there who’s been sleeping under a rock, it’s time to snap to because Sydney Whisky Month is just around the corner! After three highly successful years of hosting Sydney Whisky Week, Man of Many and The Whisky List decided to go bigger, bolder, and better with our next collaboration, so this year we’re expanding our ‘water of life’ celebration to last a full month. Not only that, we’re giving Man of Many readers the chance to win an exclusive, one-off Sydney Whisky Month Golden Ticket, which will give them access to every special event taking place across the festival. It’ll be like having the key to the city only much, much better.

In the midst of Glen Moray’s Grain Bar residency—running from Monday, 20th May to Saturday, 25th May—the Speyside distillery is hosting a stunning one-night-only consumer masterclass on May 21st. Over the course of the evening, guests will be guided through a range of tastings by Glen Moray’s global brand ambassador, Iain Allan, who will be joined by Judith Zhu, voted one of Australia’s Top 25 bartenders in 2023. This is an event true whisky lovers do not want to miss.
Special Event: Stauning’s Rye & Records – A Dinner with Danish Whisky and Old School Vinyls

As part of Stauning’s Hickson House residency from Tuesday, 28th May to Sunday, 2nd June, guests will be invited to an evening on May 29th that the distillery describes as “the full hygge experience” (i.e.relaxing and enjoying the good things in life with good people). Throughout the night, Stauning will offer an enticing selection of its single-malt and rye whiskies served alongside a delicious four-course meal. This will be set to the sound of a vinyl DJ playing hand-selected tracks designed to imbue the evening with a perfectly playful ambience.
Special Event: Angel’s Envy Finishing Dinner

- Time: Arrive by 6:45pm for a 7pm Start
- Venue: Eau De Vie Sydney, Enter Via Wynyard Lane, 285 George St, Sydney

Not only does Angel’s Envy warmly invite Sydney’s whiskey and bourbon lovers to stop by during its residency at Eau De Vie Sydney—Tuesday, 4th June to Saturday, 8th June—the Kentucky distiller is also hosting a special evening on June 5th. This will see guests experience a selection of its signature drams as they enjoy one of the finest (and with just 22 seats, most exclusive) dining experiences Sydney has to offer. Not only will guests enjoy an exclusive three-course menu made up of dishes carefully crafted by Eau De Vie’s executive chef, but the dishes will also be designed to be “finished” at the table; a nod to the complex flavours that arise from the finishing of Angel’s Envy bourbon in port wine casks. Deliciousness awaits!
