Firedoor is one of our favourite restaurants in Sydney, and they cook everything over the flame (including the caviar) but what they don’t use – is flame throwers. But that’s where FLAME steps in, substituting Michelan Star precision for flame throwers. The result is a dining experience that is sure to leave you bewildered and missing some eyebrows…

The Fishmonger’s Son Launches Limited Fish Pie
Last Wednesday 21 July, local favourite The Fishmongers Son, launched a limited number of fish pies in an epic Nicholson Street collaboration. The deli-style seafood shop has teamed up with Northside neighbours and friends, Matt Wilkinson (of The Pie Shop) and Maria’s Pasta, to dish up their own spin on everyone’s favourite winter meal, the classic fish pie. The trio has worked together to develop a fresh but indulgent recipe that ensures the seafood takes centre stage.
The limited-edition fish pies were $34 each and will be available for pick-up at The Fishmonger’s Son from Wednesday 21 July from 11 am until sold out. With only a limited number up for grabs, there’ll be gone in a hot minute so you better in quick (if it’s in your 5km bubble of course). The Fishmonger’s Son is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 am – 5 pm and Saturdays from 8 am – 2 pm.

JW Marriott Critique Launches A Festival of Flavours
With international travel currently on hold, JW Marriott Gold Coast has brought a new culinary experience to their leading restaurant Citrique. Available Thursdays through Sundays, The Festival of Flavours pays homage to cuisines from around the world, offering locals that sense of adventure they have been craving the past year in their own backyard.
The dynamic restaurant will present authentic dishes from a variety of diverse chefs, each plating up signature dishes from their cultural background, championing a different cuisine each month. Guests will be taken on an exotic food journey from Asia through to Europe and South America.
