Apple’s new TechWoven Case is the most interesting of its first-party options. It’s made from a custom woven fabric using 100 per cent recycled polyester, with different coloured yarns woven together on a Jacquard loom to give the surface more texture and depth than Apple’s typical silicone finish. The sides use lightly textured TPU for grip, while anodised aluminium buttons add a touch of bling around the edges.

You can choose from six colours: Burgundy, Olive, Taupe, Chambray Blue, Mulberry and Black. The case supports MagSafe and Qi2 25W charging and includes attachment points for Apple’s Wrist Strap and Crossbody Strap.

2. Apple Silicone Case with MagSafe

If you’d rather stick with Apple’s familiar Silicone Case, it’s still the most straightforward option. It offers the same soft-touch exterior and microfibre lining we’ve seen before, plus built-in MagSafe magnets and support for Qi2 25W charging. Instead of cutting out a hole for the Camera Control button, it uses a sapphire crystal and conductive layer. Very cool stuff indeed.

As for colours, your options include Burgundy, Olive, Crisp Blue, Navy Blue, Magenta and Black.

3. Apple Clear Case with MagSafe

Apple’s Clear Case is the obvious choice if you’ve spent some time choosing an iPhone colour and actually want to see it. The Apple Clear Case with MagSafe combines clear polycarbonate with flexible materials and scratch-resistant coatings on both the inside and outside, while keeping everything visible.

And if you know anything about what happens to clear cases over time, don’t worry; Apple says the materials and coatings are also optimised to resist yellowing. How well that holds up after a year in your pocket is another question.

Like the Silicone Case, it supports Camera Control through a sapphire crystal and conductive layer, along with MagSafe and Qi2 charging.

4. BURGA Tough Case

BURGA is the option for anyone who thinks most phone cases look a little too much like phone cases. Even if you don’t go in for dbrand’s crass style of marketing, they’ve built part of their reputation around making phones less slippery and considerably less boring. The Grip Case is its main protective option, pairing a textured edge with MagSafe support, a capacitive Camera Control button and a 2mm profile. But for me, the real appeal is what you can put on the back. Thanks to more than 40 interchangeable skin designs, you can change the look without buying another case.

It’s a good middle ground if you want something protective but don’t want to commit to one colour or finish for the life of the phone.

For around fifty bucks, it covers most of the basics without doing anything particularly complicated.

If dropping your phone is less of a possibility and more of a recurring event, OtterBox might help keep your new iPhone alive.

The Defender Series Pro XT uses a dual-layer see-through design with grippy rubber edges, port covers, raised edges around the display and camera, MagSafe support and Camera Control compatibility. OtterBox says it has been tested to seven times the MIL-STD-810G drop standard.

It’s considerably more case than any of Apple’s first-party options, but that’s what happens when you have military standards.

Spigen’s Ultra Hybrid is an easy recommendation for clear-case buyers who don’t want to spend Apple money. You get a transparent PC and TPU construction, MagSafe compatibility and the brand’s Air Cushion corner protection, without adding Defender-level bulk. The Ultra Hybrid T also uses a touch-sensitive capacitive cover over the Camera Control button instead of a cutout, while Spigen’s DuraClear resin is designed to help the case resist yellowing over time.

It’s also one of the more affordable options on this list if you want to keep the phone visible.

Which iPhone 18 Pro Case Should You Buy?

Apple’s own range is clearly the first place to start looking for a new case for your iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max.
