A lot has been said about the Land Rover Defender, and there’s a reason. The Defender remains popular over the years because of its looks and reliability. Of course, such popularity comes with a price, and if you’re looking for a Defender of your own, you’ll be joining the crowd. So when beautiful examples of this great car show up, you need to act fast.
One such example is currently being offered by Bring a Trailer. The 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 is an import, so it has the added distinction of being a right-hand-drive. Equipped with a 3.5 litre V8, the Defender transfers power to all four wheels via a 5-speed LT77 manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. The engine was updated with a single Edelbrock carburettor and round air cleaner.
The radiator and cooling hoses are reportedly new as well.
The interior features grey cloth upholstery on the three-seat bench in the front and on the inward-facing rear jump seats. You will have to replace the AM/FM/cassette stereo, but that’s an easy update. The Defender also comes with a 2-inch lift that features an Old Man Emu HD suspension. The 16-inch wheels come shod with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires.
If you’re looking to join the Land Rover Defender club, then you’ll want to snatch up this model before someone else does.
