Starting with Aston Martin, you know luxury will be involved. Add in TAG Heuer and there will be plenty of precision. Both names are synonymous with style. And that’s exactly what you get with the Superleggera.
Coming in Monaco Black, the Superleggera will be limited to only 50 examples. The black is stealthy; the red brake callipers, not so much. But combined with the red accented Pirelli Color Edition tires, the red gives a menacing and sporty look to the Superleggera.
And the car lives up to its looks with the twin-turbo 5.2-litre V12. That engine may be standard, but that’s not a problem since it’s above average anyway. Capable of 715 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque, the V12 is mated with a rear-wheel-drive system that can propel it from 0 to 100 in just 3.4 seconds. Speed tops out at 211 miles per hour.
There isn’t any pricing information just yet, but the standard DBS Superleggera runs for a bit over USD$300,000.
No doubt the special edition will go for more, but to ease the pain of the extra cost, TAG Heuer is throwing in a limited edition watch, as they did with the McLaren F1 all those years ago.
