Land Rover is already a revered name in both 4×4 and luxury SUV circles, but some of their most kick-ass examples are custom builds that after-market companies undertake, due largely in part to the customisability of their vehicles. Here, we’re looking at a luxurious overhaul by Project Savage, on a Land Rover D110.
Project Savage, with E.C.D’s design-your-own portal, took the D110 Land Rover and whacked in a Chevrolet LS3 6.2L 600 HP V8 engine, to give this beast some serious off-road grunt. Engine upgrades included improved piston heads and a brand new transmission, but the real appeal of this 4×4 is inside the cabin.
Just check these photos of the black racing-style seats offset with red stitching and detailing, plus the huge amount of space in the back thanks to the troop-carrier seating. Simplicity and comfort take priority over fangled bells and whistles here, though a huge sound system keeps occupant listening to their tunes louder than is necessary: just as it should be.
According to E.C.D, this vehicle is the most powerful truck they have ever built.
