Grab the keys to your pre-1980s car, dress up in your vintage clothes, and register to join us for The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive in North-West Sydney on Sunday the 24th of September to support men’s health. Themed on the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, the drive will raise funds for Movember and is supported by Collecting Cars Australia.
It’s also a great chance to meet some like-minded enthusiasts as they pull out their pre-1980s vehicles and drive them for a special cause. Participants are encouraged to get behind the cause and commit to a financial goal, encouraging friends and family to donate because the sad fact is, in Australia, over 60% of male deaths are preventable.
Funds raised from the event will be used to build vital programs and help conduct life-saving research so that men can enjoy the futures they deserve.

Driving or not, it’s a great event for photographers and spectators and you should expect to see key iconic cars that include plenty of MGBs, classic Mustangs, and even a 1929 Bentley Speed Six throw-in for some proper pre-war nostalgia.
“Collecting Cars is so excited to be a part of this global initiative with The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive. Globally, the original motorcycle event has gained so much momentum and interest in recent years, that we are very honoured to be involved in one of Australia’s very first ‘drive’ events, whereby iconic cars are at the front and centre,” said Rich Fowler, Head of Collecting Cars Australia.
“Given that we specialise in selling iconic, vintage and classic cars, this naturally felt like an incredible partnership. We are encouraging all collectors and car enthusiasts to join us as we raise very much-needed funds for various men’s issues such as prostate cancer and mental health.”
“No matter your age, gender, or knowledge of cars, most of us love seeing a classic, vintage car rolling down the street. Whether it’s a classic Bentley, Rolls Royce or Mustang, Collecting Cars will have a whole team of owners dressed to the nines, ready to take the streets of Sydney by stylish storm on September 24.”
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive will take place in North-West Sydney on Sunday the 24th of September and we’ll be driving from Dural and through the Hills region. Each participant is encouraged to dress up in vintage clothing and get out on the open road to support a good cause.
The only requirement is that participant’s cars must be manufactured before 1980 in keeping with the theme of the event. You can donate or register to drive at the link below.
