The old “Race on Sunday—Sell on Monday” still rings true for Triumph. The classic motorcycle producer has unveiled a new duo of limited-edition Triumph Tigers, designed to celebrate Iván Cervantes’ victory in Baja Aragón. One year on from that famous win, Triumph is reminding us of its off-road capabilities, with the launch of the Tiger 900 Rally Aragón and the Tiger 900 GT Aragón.

One of the most demanding races on two wheels, the 450km Baja Aragón is renowned for its torrid conditions, famously causing mechanical problems among even the best producers. In July 2022, Cervantes rode a Tiger 900 Rally Pro, claiming victory 1 hour and 6 minutes ahead of his rivals. The new Triumph special editions take inspiration from this event and will feature new liveries and updated specifications when they land later this year.
Based on the Tiger 900 GT Pro and Rally Pro, the Tiger 900 Rally Aragón gets a triple colour of Matt Phantom Black, Matt Graphite and Crystal White, while getting Racing Yellow accents along with Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition detailing. Then there is also the new twin-colour seat design.
The GT Aragón also cops the twin-colour seat design, however, has the option of a triple-colour scheme of Diablo Red, Matt Phantom Black, and Crystal White. There is no change in the power on offer but there is no complaining with the 87Nm of peak torque at 7250rpm.
That said, the GT Aragón Edition sports fully adjustable 45mm USD Marzocchi cartridge forks with electronically adjustable RSU, whereas the Rally Aragón Edition features Showa forks for better off-road ability. Engine protection bars are fitted as standard to both Aragón Editions, while the Rally Aragón Edition also has fuel tank protection bars.
Despite the limited edition status being bestowed on these two, the pricing is actually quite competitive at $25,490 rideaway for the Tiger 900 GT Aragon and $26,090 rideaway for the Tiger 900 Rally Aragon.
As far as adventure bikes go, these new limited edition models from Triumph feature all the grit and rugged looks you’d expect, but the addition of motorsport-inspired styling enhancements make Tiger 900 Aragon a truly enticing prospect.
