Harley-Davidson’s 2025 line-up is brimming with more muscle and power with an overhauled cruiser range along with the new Street Glide Ultra long-haul touring model. Across the entire model range, there are 13 new bikes including some with performance tweaks and some with major cosmetic additions. Hence, this iconic American motorcycle brand has turned up the volume with its models and has a vast range of motorcycles to suit your palate.

One of the all-new motorcycles unveiled is the Street Glide Ultra model which is an even more luxurious version of the previous Street Guide. Built to devour long distances with ease, this big cruiser has a 105 hp Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine which provides effortless power to cover those miles in one gulp. There is also a tweaked design theme and a larger seat for more long-distance comfort along with heated hand grips and a larger air deflector.

The other new model is the stunning Sportster S which comes armed with a revised front and rear suspension having a 60 per cent increase in rear wheel travel. This has been done without impacting seat height and both front and rear suspension are fully adjustable for compression/rebound damping and preload. It seems Harley-Davidson has made this motorcycle a bit more comfortable and making it more suitable for everyday riding. Of course, the design is the talking point including that mean blacked-out engine!

Elsewhere, the cruiser range has been showered with changes with the Low Rider S, Low Rider ST, Breakout, Heritage Classic, Fat Boy, and Street Bob having the new Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain plus all of them get riding modes called Road, Rain, and Sport. With these cruisers, the powertrain has a broader torque spread for instant performance across the rev range. These bikes also have the Softail chassis with hidden mono-shock rear suspension.

Further model changes also include the Pan America ST which is not coming to Australia but is a more road-going iteration of the adventure bikes with retuned suspension along with a more accessible seat height.

Finally, the CVO range (aka Custom Vehicle Operation Models) has also been updated albeit cosmetically. The CVO Street Glide, Road Glide and Road Glide ST use the exclusive Milwaukee-Eight 121 H.O. engine, which comes with various high-performance components.

The Road Glide ST is also inspired by the Screamin’ Eagle Factory Team Road Glide bikes competing for the MotoAmerica Mission Foods King of the Baggers championship.

If you want to customise your Harley-Davidson with a unique look for 2025, there are three Factory Custom Paint and Graphics offerings available on select models. Each paint set has a special black tank medallion with chrome accents and a mother-of-pearl textured background clad in either purple or orange. The Mystic Shift paint scheme for example has a unique look thanks to a dark gunmetal finish to purple to blue and even turning almost orange, which is especially seen under full sunlight.

The Firestorm paint scheme also marks a return of the flame paint job which was first offered as a factory option on the 1980 Wide Glide. The Firestorm schemes feature a “ghost fade” and come in two colours: Midnight Firestorm and Whiskey Firestorm.

All in all, the 2025 Harley-Davidson line-up has a raft of upgrades that increase the desirability quotient of its motorcycles even further.
