Quiksilver kicked off in 1969 when Alan Green started making board shorts in Torquay that didn't fall apart after two surfs. Every Aussie kid in the 90s had their wallet chains and logo tees. The brand basically owned surf culture for decades. Even Kelly Slater rocked their gear, and won eleven world titles in it. They sponsor everyone from locals to the big names tearing up Pipeline. Their wetsuits are properly warm and the Highline boardies are still the ones to beat.
