They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery, and that appears to be holding true for Elon Musk’s Cybertruck. People all over the world mocked the design of Tesla’s truck, but more and more products are being released that have adopted the faceted design used to make the electric vehicle. The latest to be added to that line up is the Cyberphone iPhone Case from Caviar.
The Cyberphone is a modified iPhone 11 Pro that has been done in the same style as Tesla’s Cybertruck. The body is done in titanium to help protect the phone. The back, cover, and sides are encased in metal plates. The face cover folds down to give you access to the phone’s functionality. It can also fold under the phone to become a stand that lets you prop up the phone for easier viewing. The metal covers obviously protect the phone, so you won’t have a broken glass gaff like Musk did (still, it’s not recommended that you go about throwing things at your phone to see if it will break or not). The back panel also leaves the cameras exposed so that it won’t interfere with taking photos or video.
Caviar has been responsible for taking a new look at products and their designs with many other items as well. In a world where everything is essentially cookie cutter, Tesla’s design for the Cybertruck was refreshing. While it’s clearly a case of monkey-see-monkey-do, it’s still a good thing to see companies take a look at what else can be changed. Caviar’s work is to be congratulated as it will no doubt help even more companies to reconsider their sheep mentality when it comes to their products. If you’re looking to change up how things look for you, then you can get the Cyberphone from Caviar for $6,020. As of the time of this writing, only 17 were left, so don’t wait too long.
