Red Bull Summer Edition White Peach

Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief

Summer has come early in the Man of Many office. To mark the return of the warmer weather, energy drink legend Red Bull has dropped a vibrant, rich and oh-so-flavoursome new release, nd we were lucky enough to score a slab. The latest Summer Edition White Peach has a familiar taste, but there is a fresh, fruity undertone that I really enjoy. I find this one to be a little more refreshing than the OG Red Bull, which may be why I have been absolutely housing cans all week. As with many Red Bull drops, this one also includes B-group vitamins like niacin, pantothenic acid, B6 and B12, along with a healthy dose of caffeine. As someone who has been known to fall asleep at their desk, the new can has been a godsend.

Quad Lock® USB Weatherproof Wireless Charging Head

Quad Lock USB Weatherproof Wireless Charging Head

Harry Parsons – Head of Branded Content

I have been a dedicated Quad Lock fan, from the early days of my first 250cc Sol Invictus to my current 900cc Triumph Street Twin. Each phone and bike has worn the iconic case and mount. Sadly, as each bike moved on to a new owner, so did the mount (including selling it with the bike, which actually made the deal on one occasion). I had been riding my Triumph for a while without a mount, and honestly, it was rather jarring.

My friends at Quad Lock kindly gifted me their Wireless Charger kit, and I feel at home on the bike again. In the past, I went on long rides with Waze running on my phone, and by the time I reached my destination, my phone was dead. This charging kit solves all those issues, providing constant charging during rides.

While I have owned several bikes now, I can’t say my mechanical skills are top-tier. That said, installing the charger head was pretty straightforward—just removing the tank, managing the cables simply with the supplied cable ties, and plugging the USB into my auxiliary output under the seat. I’ve been using the wireless charging mount for a couple of weeks, and I have zero complaints.

It’s convenient and secure; my phone is always charged when I arrive at my destination, and it’s even survived heavy rain over the past week thanks to its IP66 water resistance. Overall, it’s been a great addition to my Triumph. Thanks, Quad Lock! I honestly can’t see myself using any other brand for my mounting kits.

Caldera+Lab 'The Eye Serum'

Caldera+Lab ‘The Eye Serum’

Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships

I tell you what’s a nice feeling? When someone compliments your skin. Recently after having some dad chat about our kids current sleeping patterns, my mate said to me ‘Jackson must be sleeping well, you don’t have any bags under your eyes’. I said thank you with a big smile and a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

Whilst Jackson’s sleep is going pretty well, every night is variable. So I wanted to shout out a key piece of my skincare routine helping me out which is the Caldera+Lab ‘The Eye Serum’. Light weight, feels great and absorbs quickly. The product addresses the three major eye concerns – lines, dark circles and puffiness using some scientific sounding ingredients including Hexapeptide-11, Plant Stem Cells and the more well known Hyaluronic Acid.

If eyes are windows to the soul then this eye serum is the Windex and squeegee keeping them clean.

Van Heusen Father’s Day Offering

Marcus Hurley – Sales and Partnerships Manager

I’m a dad. I’m not sure I dress like a dad. Maybe the fact that I am a dad means that, by default, I dress like a dad. I am currently typing this while wearing my cap backwards. Does that make me someone who dresses like a dad? Anyway. If dressing like a dad means looking as dapper as the model wearing Van Heusen’s Cotton Cable Knit Sweater, then I want to dress like a dad.

Van Heusen has also decided to embrace the Father’s Day cliche of “oh great! A tie! I love it!” and elevate it with their Dobby Textured Tie, which in their own words (and I tend to believe them) “… brings subtle detail to clean-cut suits”.

Sabrina, if you are reading this (you’re only four… I’ll read it to you later), head to the nearest Van Heusen store (I’ll give you a lift) and please purchase many of the modern staples they have on offer (I’ll give you my card).

Sheridan Romi Check Quilt Cover Set

Sheridan Romi Check Quilt Cover Set in Vine

Beatrix Boon – Social Video Producer

I was recently sent a new quilt cover set that my partner and I are absolutely in love with. The Sheridan Romi Check in the green colourway is a classic. Earthy and calm, it suits our room perfectly and instantly makes it feel warmer and more put-together. It’s one of those small upgrades that changes the whole atmosphere.

But what really sold me is the feel. The waffled seersucker texture gives a relaxed, lived-in vibe while remaining incredibly soft and cosy. It’s also breathable, so it’s just as comfortable on a warm evening as it is on those colder Sydney nights.

ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1

Frank Arthur – Co-founder

This week I’m backing a throwback: the ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1. First released in 2008, it’s been reissued with retro 2000s styling but still delivers on comfort, making it great for casual wear. ASICS provided me with a pair of these sneakers for review purposes, and I went with the Ocean Haze/Pure Silver colourway. Since I often wear all black or black-and-white outfits, it’s the perfect choice to add a bold pop of colour that really brings a monochromatic look to life and gives a strong mix of nostalgia and everyday wearability.

Wild Turkey Master's Keep Beacon Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Beacon Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Rob Edwards – Branded Content Editor

I’ve been on something of a bourbon kick lately, and I believe I’m not alone as the world appears to be waking up to this American style of whiskey’s charms. While bourbon has always been popular, it has also been looked down upon by enthusiasts for other whisk(e)y varieties who, for some reason, see it as lesser. But as I recently discussed with Bruce Russell (Wild Turkey blender and son and grandson of legendary bourbon distillers Eddie and Jimmy Russell), bourbon is reaching standards previously thought impossible, and people are noticing.

This 10th edition of Master’s Keep, the final in Wild Turkey’s long-running series, is an outstanding example of this trend. With its tantalising notes of honey and baked apple, as well as hints of spice and oak, it’s an exceptional bourbon that came about through a collaboration between Bruce and his father. In that spirit, if you’re stuck for a last-minute Father’s Day gift, this is sure to make the old man’s day. And keep an eye out for my forthcoming interview with the charming and insightful Bruce Russell in the coming week.
