UPDATE: As of 12pm on Wednesday 17 August, the much-loved Xbox Series X gaming console is back in stock in the Microsoft Australia store. You can also find restocks on the Xbox Series S and Elite Controller.

When in doubt, go straight to the source. The Microsoft Store is the most likely place to find new Australian Xbox Seris X stock, with the site regularly updated to reflect new drops. As recently as June, Microsoft updated the allocation levels, producing a second wave of Xbox Series X consoles available to purchase online. Importantly, the brand won’t usually announce new drops, so you’ll have to vigilantly check-in yourself.
