To meet the growing appetite for “more immersion” in simulation racing games, Logitech G has dropped a state-of-the-art new addition to its at-home lineup. The new Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel and Pedals offers a professional-grade simulation experience, taking those Gran Turismo and Forza drives to the next level. For the uninitiated, Logitech G is the gaming technologies and gear unit of Logitech, which mainly focuses on providing users with high-performance gaming accessories. The company announced both the G Pro Racing Wheel and Pro Racing Pedals at Logitech’s inaugural Logi Play event, with this new racing setup designed for adept sim motorists who want to feel the sheer thrill of being in a racing car cockpit.

Simulation racing games have always been about delivering realistic driving experiences down to every minute detail., the aim of which is to mimic the real-world auto racing experience. The new Logitech set-up, particularly the Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel ushers in a new era of e-racing, taking advantage of magnetic gear shift paddles that have contactless hall effect sensors to help deliver a “realistic, mechanical feel.” You even get dual analogue clutch paddles that can be configured as a dual-clutch setup to “offer the perfect advantage when launching from the starting grid.” Or you can play around with different configurations and tune it to work as a handbrake or gas and brake pedals, if and when a need arises.
An all-new high-performance Direct Drive engine is also present, which Logitech claims is capable of 11-newton meters of force with a low-latency response. Also included is a Logitech G-exclusive, proprietary high-definition TRUEFORCE feedback technology that lets users encounter in-game physics and sound at more heightened frequencies with enhanced precision and almost immediate feedback. There are controls and switches located in a “thumb sweep” on the wheel that makes everything easily accessible to the driver.
For those who love to have different wheel settings for different games, the wheel has five separate racing profiles and a quick-release mounting system, which helps quickly remove or mount it from a work surface. Lando Norris, F1 Racer for McLaren, praised the new wheel by saying, “Logitech’s PRO Racing Wheel makes the sim racing experience incredibly realistic. I’m able to feel the conditions of the track and how the car changes during the race, which is game-changing. When using this wheel at home, I feel like I’m right there on track.”
The Pro Racing Pedals are no joke either. These pedals have pressure detection, which detects the amount of force or pressure applied, thus “allowing for improved muscle memory.” All three medals are fully customisable and you can replace the springs for a stiffer or softer feel. Similar to the gear shift paddles, the gas and clutch pedals also use contactless hall effect sensors. The Pro Racing Pedal boasts a modular design enabling you to adjust the pedal spacing as per your personal preference.
Richard Neville, head of simulation and controllers for Logitech Gaming, shared a bit about the product and its capabilities, saying, “Fans of our racing wheels and pedals can expect a serious upgrade in realism, performance and control, as well as design and durability. We analysed everything—from how many gear shifts, turns and impacts an 11-newton meter wheel takes, to which materials and components will last through even the most gruelling racing conditions.”
The Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel and Pro Racing Pedals boast some far-reaching professional-grade features, tuned toward providing players with an immersive simulation experience. But to experience all of this, you will need to shell out some serious cash. The Pro Racing Wheel is priced at USD$999, while the Pro Racing Pedals will set you back an extra USD$349 and will go on sale before the end of this month. So, if you end up buying both the wheel and the pedals, then the whole set will cost you USD$1,348. These will be compatible with almost every platform, including Windows 10 or 11 gaming PCs, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. You’ll be able to get your hands on the Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel and Pro Racing Pedals either directly from Logitech G’s official site or via select global retailers.
