Guided by the principles of easy pieces, smart details and enduring style, the new collection encompasses autumn-ready pieces and draws inspiration from late 1960s and early-1970s Paris. Classic French menswear is interpreted through modern silhouettes in a palette of navy, camel, olive, mustard, rust and winter whites. It’s a collection curated for the European winter, but there’s no reason why the styles can’t be reinterpreted for the streets of Melbourne or Sydney.
The Mr P. everyday essentials collection spans 65 pieces, with key styles including:
- Navy nubuck trucker jacket.
- Mustard yellow cotton-corduroy overshirt.
- Pair of off-white tapered pleated cotton-corduroy trousers.
- French blue moleskin unstructured suit jacket.
- Ribbed rollneck sweater in a warm camel wool.
- Tan and cream shearling jacket.
- Navy oversized belted alpaca-blend overcoat designed with a slouchy, longline shape.
Also debuting will be 13 new footwear styles, including a pair of smooth black leather boots in a sleek silhouette, along with seasonal updates to the label’s popular Jacques Derby Shoes.
Rounding out the accessories, the collection introduces belts, each fit with silver buckles: one 2.5cm black leather belt, three 3cm leather belts in brown, navy and black, and a 3.5cm woven style belt in brown.
Additionally, the collection will include seven wool scarves and five hats, all ribbed-knitted in Scotland from wool.
Mr P. complements the everyday essentials range with the September AW19 collection comprised of 36 core apparel styles perfect for the looming European winter. There are also six new accessories and eight footwear staples that will be available year-round.
Prices range US $35 – $1,420 and expect Mr P.’s next winter capsule will launch in November.
