Slip into Something More Scenic with Orlebar Brown’s Noosa Swim Shorts

Change is as good as a holiday and no one knows this better than Orlebar Brown. Since 2007, the British resort wear and lifestyle brand Orlebar Brown has been upping the holiday style of men around the globe, serving up a near-endless supply of elevated casualwear. From swim shorts and trousers to crips shirts and polos, the unique label has staked its claim on sorting your holiday wardrobe, but now there’s a new reason to get the pins out. To celebrate the sun, sea, sand and natural beauty of Australia’s own breach haven Noosa, Orlebar Brown has released an exclusive version of its classic Bulldog swim shorts. The Bulldog swim short features an iconic aerial photo of Noosa, shot by local photographer and artist, Dave Wilcock.

The Noosa-based creative’s work focuses on projects that capture the essence of a location that can only be seen from the unique perspective of the sky. Sharing this sentiment Orlebar Brown used Dave’s photo as a means of displaying the simplicity and natural allure of one of Australia’s best-loved holiday destinations. This iconic aerial photo of Noosa has been adapted to fit the many tailored elements of an Orlebar Brown Bulldog swim short, and it should come as no surprise.

Despite growing into a global brand with stores in more than 25 locations around the world, Australia has proven to be a natural home for Orlebar Brown. The shared appreciation for sunshine, travel and good times makes for an undeniable synergy, which is part of the reason the brand has established stores in Bondi, Bondi Junction, Chadstone, Noosa and now Martin Place.

This isn’t the first time Orlebar Brown has been inspired by a location. Many of their iconic shorts feature both natural and historic images. For example the “Start Your Engines Shorts” feature a photo by Thomas McAvoy of race cars at the start of the Grand Prix de Monaco in Monte Carlo, Monaco, 1956. Other iconic shorts include the “ROC POOL II” which features Slim Aarons 1958 photo of Swimmers off the Italian Island of Capri which is exclusive to Orlebar Brown. Orlebar Brown’s exclusive Noosa Swim Shorts now are available in Orlebar Brown stores.
