Though we can only make informed deductions from a couple of Instagram carousels, the snow-ready gear already has the brands’ comment sections going crazy. For Spring 2022, Supreme has worked with The North Face to bring their new Summit Series collection of tactile puffers and pants emblazoned with the iconic logos. However, with any high-profile release, the Supreme x The North Face Spring 2022 has left audiences divided in its reception.

For our counterparts who are near the tail end of Spring, the latest release has left American audiences baffled. One comment reads, “Winter is deadass over, what is this” while another exclaims, “Stop dropping winter coats in the spring!!” Lucky for us we’re approaching colder and colder months in Australia… So basically we need to secure this capsule as soon as possible.

Consisting of the Baltoro Jacket, Mountain Pro Jacket, an essential Base Layer, and Mountain Pant, the apparel for Supreme x The North Face has us covered from head to toe. Tapping into extreme weather conditions, the functional fits take style cues from mountaineering silhouettes. The quality of these articles is also unmatched for severe snow. The Baltoro Jacket features water-resistant nylon with 700-Fill down insulated baffles. The Mountain Pro Jacket and matching Mountain Pant come with a water-resistant 3-layer poly shell lined with sealed seams. The adaptable Base Layer Top features poly elastane for a jacket grounded in durability. All items are finished off with accompanying logos and evocative graphics.

The pieces come in a striking palette of pink, blue, black and camo. Sets can be worn with coinciding colours, or mixed and matched for a bolder inference of the collection. Accompanying the coveted puffers, the capsule also comes with a Chugach 16 Backpack and Smith Squad MAG Goggles. The backpack comes with a water-resistant coating and multiple pockets for increased capability. A single layer laptop sleeve might convince us to use this adventurous pack for the office. And if we’re feeling extra adventurous, we may snatch these goggles. With anti-fog inner lenses, the eyewear also features laser-etched logos and a silicone backed logo strap.
