Even the word “Clogposite” makes us uncomfortable, but here we are, trendmaxxing our way through the year with the upcoming release of the Supreme x Nike Clogposites.
This is one of the wildest sneaker moments of the year so far and arguably one of the biggest since MSCHF’s Astro Boy boots. It’s Nike’s best attempt yet at jumping on the ‘Muleboyz’ trend, but why someone would willingly put the Supreme x Nike Clogposites on their feet is tough to understand. Maybe it’s the fact they’re designed in partnership with Drudi Performance? Could it be the Y2K colourways? Who knows, but these clogs are egregious in the best possible way, and it’s hard to explain why we want a pair.
Look for the Supreme x Nike Clogposite to release on September 5th, 2024, in the USA and September 7th in Asia. They’ll be available online at supreme.com and in flagship stores worldwide. Now, let’s look at the clog/ sneaker hybrid in detail, including a quick history lesson about the Nike Clogposite.

While it might look like a modern-day iteration of the Nike Flightposite (1999) minus the ankle collar, the Nike Clogposite was a general-release clog/sneaker hybrid that first appeared on shelves in the early 2000s.
It was then brought back to life in 2014 when it was rebranded as the Solo Slide, but it never managed to move the needle for the brand commercially. This year, the Clogposite returned to sneaker boutiques nationwide. However, it hasn’t exactly flown off shelves, with multiple sizes of the ‘Chrome’ colourway still sitting at key retailers such as Up There and INCU.
Right now, the Clogposite is shaping up to be another Nike fumble, and they might be too late to join the Muleboyz bandwagon, which peaked during the global pandemic. However, this Supreme collaboration is the best chance of making the Clogposite stick. It at least gives them a competitor to the upcoming New Balance 2002R mule, which is on pace for a strong season in 2025.
This Supreme collaboration pushes the silhouette deeper into the depths of streetwear folklore with racing-inspired colourways. There are three to choose from: Black, Yellow and Blue, and Red, Green, and White. The latter of the three features unique graphics designed by Drudi Performance, who was responsible for the brand’s Ducati collaboration.
Reactions to the Supreme x Nike Clogposite online have been mixed, to say the least. While some like the design, others haven’t been quite so kind, “Look like Raybans for your feet,” said one comment, while “Water park ahh shoes,” “Skate brand,” and “What are we supposed to do with those?” were some of our favourites.
If you can’t help yourself, the Supreme x Nike Clogposite is set to release on September 5th, 2024, in the USA and September 7th in Asia. You’ll find them at supreme.com and in flagship stores around the world.
