One of our favourite and most stylish collaborators, Études, has teamed up with VEJA for an exclusive collaboration that packages Parisian style into a sleek adventurous silhouette. Priced from AU$420 and available right now, the pair have selected the VEJA Fitz Roy as the base before adding plenty of mineral grey tones that speak to the Vercors Massif, a favourite French mountain range of Études’ founders.
With the continual rise of traditional Gorpcore and brands like Salomon, Arc’Teryx, and Klättermusen, there’s now space for brands like VEJA and Études to give a fresh and bold take on this ever-changing trend.
They’ve delivered a sleek yet striking design with plenty of technical geometric patterns – reminiscent of the mountain range – alongside contrasting VEJA ‘V’ logos and Études ‘E’ logos on the medial and lateral sides of the sneaker. Standing out amongst the monochromatic hues on the 100% recycled polyester Trek-Shell upper is Études signature blue with hits on the laces and lace loop. This shell material is water-resistant from a tightly woven fabric that’s treated with a PFC-free durable water repellent.

Of course, this sneaker doesn’t miss any of the trail-ready features with a solid and stable sole built around multidirectional crampons and a Rock-Plate which offers protection on the trail from sharp stones.
