TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph

The legendary TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph is back, and in its latest iteration, it is perhaps the most appealing yet. Clad in 42mm of yellow gold and offset with a deep black sunray-finished dial, the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph is a beautiful combination of alluring design, sumptuous materials and age-old heritage. For the first time ever, the esteemed watchmaker has inverted the black and gold colourway, so the deep black dial has two contrasting golden-gilded subdials. Like the red dial limited edition, the yellow-gold model is also powered by the in-house Calibre Heuer 02 automatic movement.

Zenith DEFY Extreme E “Energy X Prix”

Zenith has unveiled the latest variation of its DEFY Extreme E series, with the DEFY Extreme E “Energy X Prix” dropping ahead of the season two finale to be held in Uruguay. Featuring Zenith’s acclaimed 1/100th of a second chronograph, a carbon fibre case with titanium elements and a distinct purple aesthetic, the DEFY Extreme E “Energy X Prix” is an adventurous and highly modern take on some very interesting watchmaking. The limited edition watch, subject to just 20 pieces, combines carbon fibre and titanium with striking purple accents that the brand claims was designed to evoke streaks of lightning in a stormy sky. Perhaps most impressive of all, the Zenith DEFY Extreme E ‘Energy X Prix’ incorporates recycled and upcycled elements from the championship in the strap as well as the packaging.
