YEEZY GAP Engineered by Balenciaga has issued its essential ‘Second Skin’ collection. The new range of bodycon pieces has been released and is available in large quantities now via yeezygap.com. The new range allows fans of the partnership to shop from a variety of menswear, womenswear and unisex pieces. As the name suggests, the new collection is meant to be worn as a second skin, with tops sitting tight on the body thanks to their elastic polyester and spandex blend.

Considering Ye and GAP’s democratic design language, there isn’t much to the collection outside of a few colours to choose from, however, it should be noted that utilitarian influences are key in the YEEZY GAP BALENCIAGA aesthetic. The collection’s pieces are mostly cut with a stretch design for a fitted look and are available in black or dark green hues with a minuscule GAP logo on the front. We’ve highlighted the two menswear pieces below but also look out for womenswear.
YEEZY GAP Long Sleeve Second Skin
Our favourite of the two ‘Second Skin’ pieces is the YEEZY GAP Engineered by Balenciaga Long Sleeve. Made from stretchy fabric (a mix of polyester and elastane) and cut in a crewneck style, it fits closely to the skin. The Long Sleeve is available in both a black or dark green hue for proper YEEZY GAP aesthetics and features an obscure extra minimalist treat in the form of a seamless pocket on the chest as well as GAP branding.

YEEZY GAP Sleeveless Second Skin
Following suit is the Sleeveless Second Skin, made from stretchy fabric and a mix of polyester and elastane. The Sleeveless Second Skin is available in the same black or dark green colours and features the same seamless minimalistic pocket on the chest as well as GAP branding. We’d recommend this one for those hot summer days down at your local beach. Wear this one in public and you’re sure to get a few strange looks, but we’d pair them with the Moto Boots and flip the middle finger.
Along with long-sleeved tops and tanks, the YEEZY GAP collection includes body-hugging jumpsuits, body suits, overalls and face-obscuring masks. Wardrobe essentials also make up the collection with tees, cargo pants, parkas, denim jackets and hoodies elevated with thoughtful proportions and subtle detailing.
