If your blood flows red, white, and blue, then the Budweiser Freedom Red Reserve Lager will fit right into your life. Even if your patriotism doesn’t go quite to that level, you can still get behind the Red Reserve for its mission.
The Budweiser Freedom Red Reserve Lager is inspired by a recipe from the first president of the United States, George Washington. The lager is brewed with toasted barley grains, which gives the Freedom Reserve a slightly sweet aroma. The touch of hops adds to a rich caramel malt taste, while the hint of molasses gives the lager a smooth finish.
The purpose behind the Freedom Red Reserve is even more noteworthy. One dollar of every case sold will be donated to Folds of Honor. This non-profit provides scholarships to families of fallen or wounded soldiers. Budweiser’s involvement with Folds of Honor has resulted in over $14 million dollars being donated to support these families since 2011. That’s not the only tie to America’s veterans for the Freedom Red Reserve. The lager is brewed by three of the over 1,6000 veterans employed by Budweiser and Anheuser-Busch. John Williams, Bobby Walker, and David Morris have literally signed off on this beer; their signatures appear on the Freedom Reserve Bottle.
Express your patriotism and your support of veterans with the limited edition Freedom Red Reserve Lager.
