Towards the end of February, Melbourne was the place to be for whisky and art lovers alike, as Glenfiddich—the world’s most-awarded single malt Scotch whisky—delivered the highlight of the Melbourne Art Fair (MAF) with a must-see pop-up bar and art installation.
Continuing the legendary whisky maker’s collaboration with Australian multidisciplinary artist Jordan Gogos, the ‘Glenfiddich x Jordan Gogos Pop-up Bar’ drew inspiration from the brand’s iconic aged expressions, inviting MAF visitors to interact with the installation’s bespoke art and fabrics while enjoying delicious Glenfiddich-based cocktails served up by the award-winning Melbourne bar Caretaker’s Cottage — recently voted number 23 in the World’s 50 Best Bar Awards.
The Valley of the Deer Lives!
After rave reviews in Melbourne, Glenfiddich was approached by social enterprise ART AID to bring the experience to Sydney. ART AID creates multi-dimensional art spaces that generate profits supporting charities both locally and internationally.
Running from 17th April to 8th May, 2024, the exhibition will be hosted at 200 George Street in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Happily, one of our fair city’s most acclaimed bars, Dean & Nancy on 22, will be manning the installation, serving up delicious signature whisky cocktails with $10 from each sale going to ART AID charities.
Plus, the ‘Glenfiddich x Jordan Gogos Pop-Up Bar’ will host an array of special experiences and events throughout its three-week run, with tickets available for purchase via Eventbrite. These events include…
Glenfiddich Trailblazer Party
Every Friday at 5 pm, Glenfiddich will celebrate creative trailblazers, change makers, and idea pioneers by bringing together Sydney’s most inspired individuals to experience the brand’s immersive art installation, groove inside the artwork, and sip on whisky cocktails. Plus, each ticket includes a Dean & Nancy on 22 whisky cocktail upon arrival.
Glenfiddich Whisky Master Classes

Glenfiddich and Jordan Gogos on Creative Collaborations
Over a whisky tasting, hear how the world’s most-awarded single-malt Scotch whisky approached Jordan Gogos ahead of his first Australian Fashion Week appearance and how the relationship has evolved from there. Jordan will discuss collaboration across art, furniture, and fashion and what we can expect from his 2024 Australian Fashion Week show. Each guest will receive an exclusive Jordan Gogos x Glenfiddich 12YO key ring and an engraved bottle of Glenfiddich 12YO that will be personalised on-site. Tickets are limited, so get in quick.
A Beautiful, Crazy Game-Changer
According to Glenfiddich brand ambassador, Ross Blainey, “The Glenfiddich x Jordan Gogos collaboration journey continues this year with something new, beautiful, colourful and a little bit crazy! Staying true to our shared ethos—always pushing boundaries and finding something that at first maybe seems a little out of reach—our genuine partnership has now led us to our fourth endeavour. Here we blend Jordan’s distinctive artistic flair with the place whisky is enjoyed best, at the bar.”
Gogos is similarly enthused about the project, explaining how it’s enabled him to push his own limits: “My collaboration with Glenfiddich for Melbourne Art Fair is a real game-changer. This time, we’ve surpassed printed graphics and instead, created bespoke furniture art that attendees can actually interact with, becoming part of my art installation, not just observers. This is a first for me!”
