White Claw Turns Up the Wick With New ‘Surge’ Cans

When the world’s biggest-selling alcoholic seltzer brand turns up the wick to twenty-out-of-ten we listen. White Claw Surge delivers a 6.5% ABV per 330ml can while still offering everything we love about the classic White Claw range – natural flavours, low carbs (2g), no artificial sweeteners and naturally gluten-free.

With Summer weather coming into full effect, these are perfect for summer afternoons catching golden hour at rooftop bars and jamming at local gigs. Crafted with sparkling water, alcohol and a hint of natural fruit flavour, the Surge delivers pure refreshment with a kick.

“We are excited to extend the White Claw range in Australia. When we first launched here in October 2020, we sold one million cans in the first week. The Hard Seltzer category is now worth $210m AUD and growing 188% YOY, with White Claw being the number one contributor to value growth last summer (IRI MAT to June 2022),” said Scott Walton, President of Mark Anthony Brands International.

White Claw Surge will be available nationwide from Monday 14 November at Aussie bottle stores and bars at an RRP of $30 for a 4-pack.

Fairy Bread Day Returns, Get Out Your 100 and 1000’s

We’re going to bet you’re thinking about some fairy bread after reading this title. It might sound ridiculous, but this is absolutely essential news – Fairy Bread Day is returning in 2022. On November 24, Dollar Sweets are urging fairy bread lovers everywhere to whip out the 100 and 1000s for a good cause, raising funds for leading youth mental health organisation, ReachOut.

Australian family-owned confectionery company, Dollar Sweets, has spearheaded Fairy Bread Day for the past two years, raising a massive $62.9K in donations for ReachOut to support young people when it comes to their mental health and suicide prevention.

“The team here at Dollar Sweets couldn’t be more proud and excited to have drawn such huge attention to Fairy Bread Day over the years. Watching the day spread near and far through our initiatives brings us so much joy, and we can’t wait to see how experimental everyone gets again in 2022 to raise as much as we can for our friends at ReachOut,” said Miranda Higgins, Managing Director of Dollar Sweets.

For the month of November, Dollar Sweets donates 10 cents from every sale of their 100 and 1000’s sold, to support ReachOut, as well as enabling access for fairy bread lovers to pledge donations directly via www.fairybreadday.com till 1 December.
