Mumma Julian’s x Impossible Foods: Launch, Menu, Price
Linking up with Impossible Foods, Butter has launched Mumma Julian’s. Taking inspiration from the traditional Italian recipes and techniques he learnt from his mother, co-owner and executive chef Julian Cincotta added a contemporary twist to the mix with a plant-based alternative for those seeking a more sustainable alternative to meat. Honestly, we just like the taste.

If you haven’t set foot in a Butter restaurant then you’re missing out on some of the best Fried Chicken in Sydney. The restaurant serves as a hybrid sneakerhead haven where merchandise is equally as sought-after as their Ramen, Chicken sandwiches, Laces, and Yuzu Cocktails. Simply put, Butter offers some of the best cheat day food in Sydney. And with the launch of Mumma Julian’s, you’ll be able to get it delivered straight to your front door with a new plant-based twist.
“The recipes I’ve made for Mumma Julian’s are some of my favourite foods to eat. Many come from my Italian heritage, but as I have shown at Butter, I love to cook a variety of cuisines. I still apply the same passion and love that I learnt cooking with my mum and aunties.”
The Mumma Julian’s menu serves as the only place to buy ready-made Impossible Beef based meals in Australia.
- The Impossible house-made Lasagne is a classic lasagne made just like Julian’s Mumma used to! Featuring pasta sheets layered with rich Impossible Bolognese sauce, 3 cheese mix and rich Napolitana sauce.
- Impossible Meatballs (AKA ImpossiBalls!) and Spaghetti is the perfect meal for lovers of traditional authentic Italian who want the best quality meal without the time spent slaving over a hot stove.
- For dessert, mumma’s cooking up an indulgent Valrhona Chocolate Brownie Slab. This indulgent recipe is a closely guarded secret of Mumma Julian, something he has been testing and refining over the last 15 years. Forget what you know about brownies, the second you taste this, everything you thought you knew about brownies will change forever.
As is the case with any Butter operation, Mumma Julian’s has made a range of limited edition essentials available for customers. Everything from tea towels and aprons to tote bags can be bought online. Get in quick, because the first 5 orders of the Impossible Lasagne from the Mumma Julain website will come wrapped in an exclusive Mumma Julian’s tea towel for the next four weeks.
